Quoting the Holy Qur’an:
“And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner".
An-Naml, Chapter #27, Verse #92)
At-Tur
(Altoor) is one of the many Arabic words for The Mount / mountain) is the 52nd sura of the Qur'an with 49 ayat. The surah that opens with the oath of the Divine One swearing by THE MOUNT of Sinai, where the Torah was revealed to Moses. It takes its name from “the mount” mentioned in Ayah#1. The surah which addresses many of the arguments put to the Prophet by the disbelievers of Mecca. The bliss that will be enjoyed by the believers is contrasted to the torments of Hell, and the Prophet is urged to bide his time, to continue to deliver his message, and to wait with confidence for God’s judgement. God swears by, among other things, Mount Sinai, that the Day of Judgement is inevitable.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Transliteration
Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
52:0
وَالطُّورِ
Transliteration
Wattoor
Yusuf Ali
By the Mount (of Revelation);
52:1
وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ
Transliteration
Wakitabin mastoor
Yusuf Ali
By a Decree inscribed
52:2
فِي رَقٍّ مَنْشُورٍ
Transliteration
Fee raqqin manshoor
Yusuf Ali
In a Scroll unfolded;
52:3
وَالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ
Transliteration
Walbayti almaAAmoor
Yusuf Ali
By the much-frequented Fane;
52:4
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ
Transliteration
Wassaqfi almarfooAA
Yusuf Ali
By the Canopy Raised High;
52:5
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ
Transliteration
Walbahri almasjoor
Yusuf Ali
And by the Ocean filled with Swell;-
52:6
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ
Transliteration
Inna AAathaba rabbika lawaqiAA
Yusuf Ali
Verily, the Doom of thy Lord will indeed come to pass;-
52:7
مَا لَهُ مِنْ دَافِعٍ
Transliteration
Ma lahu min dafiAA
Yusuf Ali
There is none can avert it;-
52:8
يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاءُ مَوْرًا
Transliteration
Yawma tamooru assamao mawra
Yusuf Ali
On the Day when the firmament will be in dreadful commotion.
52:9
وَتَسِيرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا
Transliteration
Wataseeru aljibalu sayra
Yusuf Ali
And the mountains will fly hither and thither.
52:10
فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Transliteration
Fawaylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeen
Yusuf Ali
Then woe that Day to those that treat (Truth) as Falsehood;-
52:11
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ
Transliteration
Allatheena hum fee khawdinyalAAaboon
Yusuf Ali
That play (and paddle) in shallow trifles.
52:12
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
Transliteration
Yawma yudaAAAAoona ila narijahannama daAAAAa
Yusuf Ali
That Day shall they be thrust down to the Fire of Hell, irresistibly.
Wallatheena amanoo wattabaAAat-humthurriyyatuhum bi-eemanin alhaqnabihim thurriyyatahum wama alatnahum minAAamalihim min shay-in kullu imri-in bima kasaba raheen

And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds.
Am lahum sullamun yastamiAAoona feehifalya/ti mustamiAAuhum bisultanin mubeen

Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof.
